What You Bring
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler I to perform routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of basic scheduling principles and techniques with oversight for our Operating Groups. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related discipline, have experience on construction sites, and demonstrate strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills. Mortenson is an equal‑opportunity employer and requires candidates to be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. • Have prior experience on construction job sites (preferred). • Possess basic knowledge of scheduling concepts, principles, practices, and company software. • Understand standard construction practices and project sequencing. • Exercise creativity and mature judgement to anticipate and solve problems. • Work effectively in a cross‑functional, collaborative, team‑based environment. • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with initiative for innovative solutions. • Exhibit active listening and effective communication, welcoming diverse input and feedback. • Maintain excellent organization skills and a proven desire to learn. • Have knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or Power Project software (a plus).
