About the Role
The HVAC Technician 1 role focuses on delivering and installing portable HVAC equipment while providing professional communication and a polished appearance. Technicians work both on-site and in the shop, keeping the area organized, clean, and safe, and assist other technicians on larger jobs. The position requires flexibility to respond to emergency service calls on a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends. • Communicates professionally with customers, managers and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups and service calls • Delivers and installs rented HVAC equipment and trains operators on safe use • Directs customers to sign paperwork and tracks serial numbers • Troubleshoots operation, specifications, and controls of rental equipment • Operates company vehicle safely and follows all safety policies • Cleans and tests returned equipment to ensure proper operation and appearance • Completes paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups and service calls • Installs flexible gas hose for propane and natural gas applications • Implements safe procedures to check gas connections • Maintains accurate records of in-stock and rented equipment with managers and sales engineers • Provides on-call emergency service on a rotating schedule, including weekends and evenings

What You Bring
• 1-2 years of experience in a service‑related role interacting with customers • Possesses basic math skills • Mechanically inclined • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • At least 21 years old • Willingness to work some after‑hours and weekend shifts during peak times
