About the Role

The Programme Delivery Executive (Regen) for Rolls‑Royce Submarines will be based on site in Derby and work within the Infrastructure Delivery business unit. The role leads the Regen infrastructure programme and oversees the delivery leads of its component projects, implementing optimal ways of working across infrastructure teams, the programme sponsor and supply‑chain partners to achieve the desired outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure, the Executive is accountable for project and programme performance against the defined functional scope. Responsibilities include governing Heads of Delivery, interfacing with tier‑one fissile supply‑chain partners, deputising for the Director on programme matters, and holding commercial accountability for design and delivery partners by setting KPIs and managing contracts. Effective collaboration with the internal business sponsor, supporting functions and long‑term delivery partners is critical. The role leads a combined Rolls‑Royce and supply‑chain integrated team, ensures clear visibility of programme health across budget, schedule, quality and safety, and drives supplier performance improvements while influencing data capture, visualisation and decision‑making processes. Additional accountabilities involve translating requirements into scopes of work and work packages, developing a high‑performance delivery team that is agile and resilient, ensuring governance and assurance oversight, and rigorously upholding the company’s policies, procedures and zero‑harm HSE standards. • Lead the Regen infrastructure programme and its component delivery teams. • Govern Heads of Delivery to meet programme schedule and scope. • Interface with tier‑one fissile supply‑chain partners and manage commercial KPIs. • Drive supplier performance improvements in delivery, quality and value for money. • Lead an integrated Rolls‑Royce and supply‑chain team to optimise project management. • Maintain visibility of programme health across budget, schedule, quality and safety. • Define and embed performance data capture and visualisation across the programme. • Translate business requirements into detailed scopes of work and work packages. • Develop a high‑performance, agile delivery team and foster a resilient culture. • Ensure compliance with governance, quality standards, internal policies and external regulations. • Champion a zero‑harm HSE policy in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

They have a proven track record delivering large‑scale nuclear infrastructure programmes, supplier‑relationship management experience, and demonstrable leadership in transformation and change initiatives. Essential requirements include deep experience delivering complex nuclear infrastructure projects, commercial experience within a collaborative framework (NEC4 contracts), a relevant degree or equivalent experience, and recognised project or programme management qualifications such as MSP or MAPM. Preferred candidates have senior‑level experience in sectors such as aerospace, nuclear, petro‑chemical or other high‑hazard, complex industries, and must obtain a UK Security Check clearance.
