About the Role
The Property Manager for multifamily communities at Cushman & Wakefield is responsible for maintaining properties to market-ready standards while delivering a high level of resident service. This role also drives team performance to maximize property results. Key duties include overseeing daily operations such as maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. The manager ensures superior customer communication, completes lease paperwork to company standards, and monitors advertising and prospect traffic. Leadership responsibilities encompass recruiting, hiring, coaching, and mentoring a cohesive on‑site team across leasing, customer service, maintenance and management functions, with a focus on engagement and turnover reduction. The manager models Cushman & Wakefield’s mission, drives revenue through market analysis and creative marketing, and collaborates with leasing staff to achieve leasing and marketing goals. • Oversee community operations: maintenance, capital projects, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, collections, evictions, vacancy management, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits. • Provide superior resident and prospect customer service to increase satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork in compliance with company standards. • Track advertising performance and prospect traffic. • Recruit, hire, train, and coach on‑site staff across leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management. • Lead by example, instill Cushman & Wakefield’s mission, and reduce staff turnover. • Analyze competition and develop innovative marketing programs to drive revenue. • Manage community budget, finances, and ensure leasing/marketing targets are met. • Maintain resident files and resolve conflicts promptly to ensure a positive living environment. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Set goals, assess leasing opportunities, and improve staff performance.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least three years of property management and management experience, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and a real‑estate license preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong oral and written communication, and solid bookkeeping and sales skills are required. The role operates in a professional office environment, requires occasional travel and physical activity such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lb. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication and customer service skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation. • Possess general office, bookkeeping, and sales expertise. • Minimum 3 years property management experience and 3 years management experience. • Bachelor’s degree preferred; real‑estate license preferred. • Ability to travel up to 15% and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 lb.
