About the Role

The role involves leading, mentoring and developing a team of construction project managers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. The leader conducts performance reviews, offers feedback and aligns managers with organisational and client goals. Responsibilities include overseeing project planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution and closeout to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to required quality standards. The manager reviews and approves project plans, budgets, schedules and change orders. The manager optimises resource allocation across projects, coordinating with other departments and external stakeholders to resolve conflicts and maintain productivity. Monitoring utilisation and adjusting allocations as needed is required. Financial duties involve overseeing yearly project creation, budgeting and scheduling of the client’s capital plan, evaluating budgets and financial performance, and approving reports, invoices and expense claims. Collaboration with finance teams ensures accurate accounting. As the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders and senior management, the manager communicates project status, addresses concerns promptly and maintains high client satisfaction. The role ensures quality assurance and risk management by implementing control processes, conducting audits and site inspections, and identifying and mitigating risks proactively.
