About the Role
In this role you will perform new installations and service for HVAC systems such as air handlers, boilers, chilled water systems, VAV boxes, fan coils, and exhaust fans. Using Johnson Controls' configuration and Metasys building automation tools, you will commission, troubleshoot, and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and control issues while responding to warranty calls and providing top‑tier field support. You will load system‑level controller software, conduct basic commissioning, diagnostics, and sequence testing from controllers to end devices, and complete required documentation. Tasks include calibrating equipment, managing building management system points, trending data for historical analysis, and keeping customers and contractors informed of job progress. • Install, commission, and service HVAC systems using Metasys automation tools. • Respond to warranty calls and deliver technical field support to improve building efficiency. • Load controller software, perform diagnostics, calibrate equipment, and document as‑built systems. • Communicate progress to customers/contractors and complete required admin tasks.

What You Bring
We seek entry‑level candidates—students or recent graduates—with up to two years of experience in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, or HVAC. Required knowledge includes HVAC control systems, electrical fundamentals, facilities management, and the ability to program HVAC software. Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are essential for representing Johnson Controls professionally and guiding mechanics on non‑critical projects. • Entry‑level candidates (in school or recent grads) with 0‑2 years of relevant experience. • Required knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical systems, facilities management, and software programming. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities for customer interaction and team guidance.
