About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop our local and regional government and communities business, part of our Cities and Place market. The senior leadership position is responsible for driving integrated consultancy services—including project, programme, and construction management—across the UK and Europe. • Manage development and delivery of local and regional government business plan, budget, resource plans, and pipeline. • Provide strategic direction across service lines: project, programme, construction management, PMO, planning, cost and commercial, and business advisory. • Build and manage large, diverse teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication with colleagues, suppliers, partners, and clients. • Secure new business opportunities and drive growth across the sector and geographies. • Ensure robust resource planning, supporting training, development, and progression within the market. • Represent Mace externally as an innovative leader, building strong relationships at C‑suite and senior client levels. • Identify, manage, and mitigate business risks while delivering service excellence and achieving balanced scorecard KPIs. • Safety first: champion a safe, diverse, inclusive working environment and wellbeing. • Create opportunity: champion continuous improvement culture, inspiring people and teams to develop.
