About the Role
The manager will lead multidisciplinary teams through planning, preliminary, and final design phases, preparing calculations, drawings, and visual aids for BRT infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing multimodal street designs, constructing cost estimates, preparing technical specifications, and performing quality‑control reviews. The position also supports business development and mentors entry‑level engineers while adhering to project budgets and schedules. • Lead and manage BRT planning, preliminary, and final design projects. • Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, visual aids, and multimodal street designs. • Develop construction cost estimates and technical specification sections. • Perform quality‑control reviews of design calculations and drawings. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers. • Support business development and client engagement activities.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a Professional Engineering license, and at least eight years of relevant experience, including roadway and BRT/LRT design. Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or equivalent platforms is required, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Preferred qualifications include ten years of transportation design experience, leadership and project‑management experience, and strong communication and client‑relationship skills. • Minimum: BS in Engineering, Professional Engineering license, 8+ years experience in roadway and BRT/LRT design. • Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation/Power InRoads, Power GeoPak, or OpenRoads Designer. • U.S. citizenship required. • Preferred: 10+ years transportation design, 2+ years leadership, 5+ years project management, strong communication and client relationship skills.
