About the Role
The role is for a Software Engineer on the Federal Solutions team, building the next generation of secure, mission‑critical systems that support national defense, cyber operations, and government modernization. The engineer will design and develop the core data platform and framework that enables interoperability across high‑impact federal systems. Key responsibilities include creating ETL pipelines for large data sets, working with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch for indexing and query performance, and building Kibana visualizations for data exploration. The position also requires developing UI components in React.js with Material‑UI, writing automation scripts in Python, Java, or Go, and applying data‑science tools such as Pandas and NumPy. • Design and develop a core data platform for federal system interoperability • Build ETL pipelines to ingest and preprocess large datasets from diverse sources • Implement and optimize indexing and search in OpenSearch/Elasticsearch • Create Kibana dashboards and visualizations for trend analysis and reporting • Develop UI components using React.js with Material‑UI, following UI/UX best practices • Write automation scripts in Python, Java, or Go for repetitive data tasks • Apply data‑science libraries (Pandas, NumPy) and understand algorithms and data structures • Leverage cloud services (AWS or Azure) and distributed system concepts as needed • Prototype and deliver MVPs rapidly to meet mission‑critical requirements • Maintain an active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance

What You Bring
