What You Bring
NV5 Geospatial is actively recruiting a Financial Analyst with strong capabilities in tracking program financials, managing budgets, and aligning funding streams with DoD financial planning processes. The position will be based remotely supporting US Southern Command. US citizenship is required, and while no clearance is mandatory, an active Secret or higher clearance is preferred. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or five years of equivalent financial management experience. Required qualifications include demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, financial reporting, proficiency in the PPBE process, and strong analytical and technical writing skills. Preferred credentials cover Lean Six Sigma, PMP, KM, CDFM, CPA, DAWIA Level II, and language skills in Portuguese or Spanish, along with experience in government IT programs. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or 5 years equivalent experience. • Demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting. • Proficient in the PPBE process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation. • Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation. • Strong analytical and technical writing skills. • Preferred certifications: Lean Six Sigma, PMP, KM, CDFM, CPA, or DAWIA Level II. • Portuguese or Spanish language proficiency. • Experience with government IT programs and environments. • Active Secret clearance preferred; US citizenship required.
