About the Role
The role is a Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) based in Hamilton within Downer’s Transport and Infrastructure business. You will support the Traffic Management team to deliver a safe, reliable and sustainable roading network, overseeing temporary traffic management plans, road closures and diversions, and leading briefings for the crew. • Ensure accurate implementation of temporary traffic management plans and oversee setup and pack‑down of road closures and diversions • Lead toolbox and closure briefings, providing clear job details and expectations to the traffic management team • Train and upskill traffic controllers and junior STMS staff • Maintain safety of Downer crew, subcontractors, and the public

Required qualifications include an STMS Cat A/B practising licence (or Class A1 warrant), a Class 1 New Zealand driver’s licence (Class 2 beneficial), reliable problem‑solving abilities, people skills, and a commitment to safe work practices.
