About the Role

The Senior BIM Consultant will join a highly skilled team to deliver and implement BIM solutions from strategy through to project execution for global clients. The role involves capturing client requirements, developing BIM strategies, authoring documentation, leading roll‑outs, and interfacing with design teams and contractors. • Capture client requirements and develop a BIM strategy. • Author BIM documentation and workflows aligned with industry best practice. • Lead and manage BIM rollout and implementation across client organizations, programmes, and projects. • Communicate BIM strategy, documentation, and workflows to stakeholders. • Identify risks and define appropriate mitigations. • Interface with clients, design teams, and contractors to implement BIM methodologies. • Lead and manage a project team. • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops. • Conduct structured reviews and clash detection of project models. • Analyze construction documentation and data against project requirements. • Write detailed reports and peer‑review colleagues’ work. • Support colleagues with project deliverables. • Contribute to development and maintenance of Turner & Townsend BIM documentation and processes. • Create and contribute to bid proposals. • Provide line management to colleagues. • Research and develop emerging technologies. • Champion digital services as an ambassador for Turner & Townsend. • Maintain working knowledge of industry and international BIM standards. • Define and write BIM strategies and implementation plans. • Communicate clearly with all project stakeholders. • Adopt a methodical approach to task delivery and confidently challenge others.

What You Bring

• Apply strong knowledge of civil, architecture, and mechanical design and construction. • Hold a degree or equivalent demonstrable experience. • Understand construction processes and documentation thoroughly. • Familiarity with roles and responsibilities on BIM‑enabled projects. • Experience creating and maintaining key BIM documentation and a common data environment. • Proficiency with 3D modelling software such as Revit or ArchiCAD. • Experience with model interrogation and clash detection tools like Solibri or Navisworks. • Demonstrate an inquisitive nature to learn new software and emerging technologies. • Work independently and be self‑motivated. • Lead project and team meetings; possess strong presentation and workshop skills.
