About the Role
As a planner for the Cross Keys client, you will manage follow‑on appointments, schedule jobs, allocate appropriate time, and assign the right operatives. You will monitor job progress, identify additional works, track KPIs and overdue tasks, and ensure repairs are delivered on time. Daily updates to repair jobs, use of IT systems, and clear communication with residents, operatives and stakeholders are also required. • Schedule follow‑on appointments, allocate time, and assign operatives. • Monitor job progress, identify additional works, and address them promptly. • Track KPIs and manage overdue tasks to maintain service standards. • Coordinate operatives and subcontractors to ensure timely repairs. • Update repair jobs daily and support IT system usage (PDAs, rates). • Communicate professionally with residents, operatives, and stakeholders. • Provide coverage for other planners, attend meetings/training and adhere to health & safety. • Assist with reporting, prioritize emergency jobs, maintain accurate records, and suggest service improvements. • Offer general administrative support to the repairs team.

What You Bring
The role requires previous experience in a planning or administrative position, strong organisational skills, IT literacy and good communication abilities. You must be able to work collaboratively with administrators, supervisors and contractors while adhering to company policies and Health & Safety standards. • Prior experience in a planning or administrative role. • Strong organisational abilities. • IT literacy. • Good communication skills.

Benefits
The position is a full‑time, permanent role in Peterborough, working 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. It offers an annual salary of up to £28,751.00 together with a company van and fuel card.
