About the Role

The CADD Operator will analyze and prepare complete boundary surveys, perform quality‑control reviews of reports and plans, assist staff with report and plan preparation, and coordinate field and office work on complex projects. Additional duties include preparing work plans, directing staff to meet project objectives, and monitoring the efforts of assigned staff, sub‑consultants, and contractors. • Analyze and prepare complete boundary surveys using record data. • Conduct quality‑control reviews of reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. • Assist staff in preparing reports, findings, and contract documents. • Organize and coordinate field and office staff for complex design tasks. • Develop project and task work plans. • Direct staff to achieve project objectives and monitor their performance. • Oversee sub‑consultants and contractors’ work efforts.

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a talented CADD Operator to join our Survey/Geospatial team. It’s an office‑based, design‑focused role where you’ll transform field data into precise survey deliverables that support transportation projects in the New York metro area. If you have AutoCAD and survey mapping experience, this is a chance to work on high‑profile projects and grow your career. Required: High School diploma/GED, 1+ year of surveying experience, AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Preferred: Associate degree or technical experience, DOT project experience, MicroStation/InRoads proficiency, and knowledge of surveying instruments, trigonometry, and geometry. Construction surveying, 3D scanning registration, and strong English communication are also valued. • High School diploma/GED; Associate degree or technical experience preferred. • Minimum 1 year of surveying experience; DOT project experience a plus. • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D; MicroStation/InRoads preferred. • Skilled in various data techniques, coding systems, and surveying instruments. • Strong knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, angular and linear measurement. • Valid driver’s license with clean MVR. • Excellent English reading and communication skills.
