Maintain and repair diesel trucks and equipment for WM’s waste management fleet.

About the Role
In this role, you will repair trucks and equipment that serve over 20 million customers across the United States, using modern tools and procedures to maintain both diesel and CNG fleets. Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, safety checks, and documentation in a compliant, OSHA‑aligned workspace. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on trucks and equipment • Estimate time and material costs and complete work within Standard Labor Repair Times • Respond to emergency service calls and perform safety checks on vehicles • Document parts usage, repair times, and complete required paperwork • Assist senior mechanics on project work and address Driver Vehicle Inspection Report items • Maintain a clean, safe shop environment in compliance with OSHA and corporate safety standards

What You Bring
• Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical experience, including hydraulics and AC systems (609 experience a plus) • Valid driver’s license with clean record and ability to pass pre‑employment drug screen and physical • Frequent physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, and constant standing and walking • Must be over 18 years of age, legally eligible to work in the United States, and able to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
