About the Role

The successful candidate will mentor staff, manage project delivery from concept design through construction, provide strong technical guidance, risk management and quality assurance, and promote collaboration across offices. Clear communication, effective delegation and a commercial focus are essential to uphold performance and company standards. • Lead project delivery from concept design through construction, ensuring technical excellence • Drive business development and client engagement, maintaining and expanding relationships • Identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic planning and growth initiatives • Oversee project financials including fee proposals, resourcing, budgeting and profitability • Manage and mentor engineers and drafters, fostering a high‑performance culture • Peer‑review design work and documentation to ensure quality and compliance • Represent the business in client meetings, presentations and industry forums • Contribute to continual improvement of systems, processes and design standards • Ensure adherence to professional, ethical and quality standards and manage commercial and technical risk

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Structural/Civil) with at least 10 years of relevant project technical experience • CPEng/NER accreditation; Registered Design Practitioner (or pathway) highly desirable • Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing teams or projects • Proven ability to develop and maintain long‑term client relationships • Track record of driving business performance through technical and commercial contributions • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on collaboration and influence • Proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for growing business and people
