About the Role

In this role you will drive technical design and development of new products, coordinating with internal production teams and external suppliers to ensure quality, manufacturability, and timely launch. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle from concept through production. You will work closely with project managers to define schedules, resolve roadblocks, and oversee prototyping, testing, and ASME compliance for piping and pressure vessels, while researching the latest industry advancements. This includes establishing clear technical requirements and monitoring progress against milestones. The position involves designing and selecting heat exchangers, pumps, fans, and other critical components for data‑center cooling units, creating piping system layouts using manual or computer‑based tools, and defining testing protocols for internal and external certifications. You will ensure that all designs meet performance and reliability standards. You will lead supplier development efforts, mentor junior engineers, provide technical direction to cross‑functional teams, and continuously improve processes to reduce risk and shorten product‑development cycle time.
