About the Role

The Community Manager oversees all on‑site operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. Responsibilities span personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative and risk management, while ensuring compliance with Asset Living policies, safety standards and fair‑housing regulations. • Supervise on‑site staff, handling hiring, training, scheduling, performance management, and policy compliance. • Drive financial performance by creating budgets, controlling costs, overseeing rent collection, vendor invoicing, and preparing accurate reports. • Manage leasing operations, develop annual marketing plans, execute resident retention programs, and ensure timely lease execution and documentation. • Oversee property administration and maintenance, respond to emergencies, ensure high‑quality customer service, and conduct regular inspections. • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing, OSHA, and safety guidelines while mitigating liability risks.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least a high‑school diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred) and relevant housing experience; CAM or ARM certification is a plus. The role requires reliable transportation for emergency on‑call, and physical abilities such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working in varied weather and confined spaces. • Maintain required education/experience: high school diploma minimum; bachelor’s degree or relevant housing experience preferred; CAM or ARM certification advantageous. • Demonstrate proficiency with on‑site software, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. • Meet physical demands such as standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lb, climbing ladders, and working in varied weather and confined spaces. • Possess reliable transportation for emergency on‑call duties.

Benefits
