About the Role

We are seeking a Supervising Mechanical Engineer – CF to join our Los Angeles team. The role involves representing the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members while supervising, coordinating, and assigning project work to the engineering staff. • Act as Engineer of Record on dedicated projects and lead coordination meetings. • Supervise and mentor staff, assign tasks, and conduct employee evaluations. • Participate in budgeting, scheduling, and staff management. • Prepare proposals, administer contracts, and manage project invoices and receivables. • Oversee construction administration duties such as field reports, RFIs, bulletins, and addenda. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects. • Produce analysis and reports of system options and building conditions. • Contribute to firmwide Expert Teams committee.

What You Bring

• Current PE registration with Critical Facilities design experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. • Minimum 12 years consulting MEP experience, including 7+ years project management. • At least 3 years supervisory experience. • Hands‑on design and CAD/Revit proficiency. • Experience with healthcare, federal, commercial, or aviation projects preferred.
