About the Role

• Lead small teams of junior engineers and drafters, ensuring project plans are followed and corrective actions applied. • Perform structural calculations and design analyses in accordance with Australian Standards. • Prepare tender documents, including work breakdown structures, scopes, exclusions/inclusions, and effort estimates. • Liaise with asset owners, operators, contractors, and consultants to coordinate project requirements. • Attend meetings and briefings, disseminating relevant information to the team. • Advance design documentation by marking up drawings and sketching design intent. • Review and provide constructive feedback on engineers’ and drafters’ designs and documentation. • Conduct site inspections as needed. • Mentor junior engineers and foster team spirit.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent; Chartered Professional Engineer status or intent to obtain chartership within 6 months preferred. • Proficient with Australian Standards and industry guidelines for bridges, buildings, and infrastructure. • MRWA Level 2 Bridge Inspector qualification strongly preferred. • Skilled in structural analysis software, especially Spacegass, and proficient with the Microsoft Office suite. • Demonstrated ability to improve project efficiency through software implementation. • Experience in a consulting environment and established relationships with local industry partners. • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory.
