About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations while providing prompt and courteous waste removal services to customers. Daily vehicle condition reports are completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, loading and compacting refuse, disposing of material at designated sites, and maintaining route productivity standards. The driver also interacts professionally with customers and dispatchers, monitors waste for prohibited items, and cleans accidental spills according to safety policies. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues • Operate collection truck safely along assigned route using route sheets and maps • Load refuse, operate compactor, and dispose of material at designated facilities • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures • Monitor waste for prohibited items and clean accidental spills safely • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness, including packer blade cleaning • Complete daily route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports • Meet productivity standards to service customers efficiently • Follow all safety policies, participate in ReSOP program, and perform other assigned duties • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and trustworthiness

What You Bring
Applicants must possess a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
