About the Role

The role provides complete engineering design solutions, technical support, and project management for new product development, modifications, and enhancements. The engineer coordinates prototype fabrication and works closely with in‑house testing labs, third‑party certification engineers, manufacturing engineering, and operations teams. The professional maintains up‑to‑date technical knowledge of existing and emerging products and utilizes solid modeling and analysis software to meet commercial specifications, cost targets, and schedules. Key duties include conducting feasibility studies, creating layouts, building rapid prototypes, performing testing, and ensuring all project records, drawings, and engineering releases are accurately maintained. • Design and develop new products and enhancements using solid modeling and analysis software. • Conduct engineering feasibility studies, create layouts, and build rapid prototypes. • Manage project documentation, drawings, and engineering releases. • Perform product engineering maintenance on existing product lines. • Coordinate prototype fabrication with testing labs, certification engineers, and manufacturing teams. • Lead development initiatives, define scope, and manage project timelines and gate approvals. • Apply electrical industry standards to production‑ready designs. • Present technical information to managers, sales, customers, and factory personnel. • Identify and resolve problems promptly.

What You Bring

A successful candidate holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, has at least two years of design and testing experience, is proficient in CAD and FEA tools, and demonstrates strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills. • Hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years of design/testing experience. • Proficient in Inventor or SolidWorks and Finite Element Analysis. • Demonstrate effective project management and cross‑functional collaboration. • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. • Skilled in Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
