About the Role

Each day you’ll work at one of our waste‑disposal facilities serving over 20 million customers nationwide. As an Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic you will service and repair essential equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers and front‑end loaders, directly impacting our operations. Responsibilities include repairing a range of equipment (bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, company cars), diagnosing and fixing differentials, hydraulics, motors, transmissions, drives, HVAC and electrical systems, and performing preventative maintenance according to site checklists. You will also handle paperwork such as work orders, PM checklists and oil samples, and maintain auxiliary equipment like light plants, water pumps and welders. • Repair and maintain bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, and company vehicles. • Diagnose and fix differentials, hydraulics, motors, transmissions, drives, HVAC, and electrical systems. • Perform preventative maintenance per site checklist and complete related paperwork (work orders, PM checklists, oil samples). • Service auxiliary equipment such as light plants, water pumps, and welders.
