About the Role

The role involves maintaining and operating a variety of machinery, including conventional, special‑purpose, and CNC equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and presses. The operator must consistently meet production requirements, ensure finished workpieces meet specifications, and keep the work area clean and safe. Additional duties include packing finished materials, loading and unloading dunnage, completing process and production documentation, and monitoring machine performance to detect and correct malfunctions. Work is performed under close supervision with defined procedures, and the environment may involve temperature extremes, loud noise, fumes, and occasional handling of heavy items. • Operate and maintain CNC, conventional, and special‑purpose machines (grinders, drills, saws, presses). • Meet production targets while ensuring workpieces conform to specifications. • Maintain a clean, safe work area and handle packing, loading, and unloading of finished materials. • Accurately document process monitors and production tickets. • Monitor machine operation, identify and resolve malfunctions during the shift. • Follow safety procedures, use safety features, and perform basic math measurements. • Lift and maneuver materials up to 50 lb in environments with temperature extremes, noise, and fumes.
