About the Role
Arcus is hiring a part‑time In‑store Cleaner for Sainsbury’s Nairn store on a fixed‑term basis, working 18.5 hours per week for £12.21 an hour. The role starts immediately and provides an opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe shopping environment for customers. Cleaners are responsible for daily cleaning duties such as operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and maintaining surfaces, toilets, ceilings, windows and oven canopies. Outdoor tasks may include keeping trolley bays free of leaves and debris, while adhering to health‑and‑safety procedures and receiving full training from Arcus. • Operate cleaning machinery safely • Perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping throughout the store • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies • Maintain trolley bays and external areas free of leaves and debris • Follow all health and safety procedures

The store operates seven days a week and offers flexible shift patterns, including early‑morning, morning, afternoon and evening slots. The current schedule is Sunday 06:00‑10:00, Monday 06:00‑11:00, Tuesday 06:00‑11:00, Wednesday and Thursday off, Friday 06:00‑10:30, and Saturday off, with overtime available.
