About the Role

The consultant bridges sales teams and utilities, EPCs, and industrial clients, identifying and developing service opportunities for power transformers and high‑voltage breakers. The role involves on‑site assessments, technical consultations, and delivering tailored solutions that modernize and ensure reliability of the power grid. Collaboration with engineering, safety, and planning groups ensures seamless project execution, while technical support on proposals, scopes, and quotes drives service sales growth. The consultant also generates detailed reports, maintains accurate CRM records, and represents Hitachi Energy at industry events. • Lead on‑site assessments to identify service opportunities for grid assets • Provide technical support on electrical testing, controls, oil processing, and breaker mechanisms • Collaborate with engineering, safety, and planning teams to execute projects and ensure customer satisfaction • Develop and deliver tailored solutions, proposals, scopes, and quotes to drive service sales growth • Build and maintain relationships with utilities, EPCs, and industrial stakeholders • Generate detailed field reports and maintain accurate records in CRM systems • Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events to enhance market presence

What You Bring

The remote position supports customers in the North East, South Central, and Western United States, with travel to customer sites. Candidates based in these regions are preferred. Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of field experience with transformers and HV breakers, including 4 years as a field crew leader, and can interpret blueprints and schematics. A high school diploma or GED is required; advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce are essential.
