Customer Service - Self Storage Manager

About the Role

Property Managers work independently across multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside facilities. They assess customers’ storage needs, recommend solutions, and sell packing and moving supplies. Daily duties include inspecting storage units for inventory and availability, auditing cash drawers, making bank deposits, and handling payment reminders or collection calls. Physical requirements involve lifting or moving items up to 35 lb and walking around facilities, with up to 50 % of the time spent outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. The role also entails routine cleaning and maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping interiors, and keeping exterior grounds clear of debris. • Independently manage multiple storage locations, both indoor and outdoor • Assess customer storage needs and sell packing/moving supplies • Conduct daily unit inspections to ensure inventory readiness • Audit cash drawers, perform bank deposits, and handle payment reminders/collections • Lift/move items up to 35 lb and walk around facilities, spending up to 50% of time outdoors • Perform routine cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and exterior grounds maintenance
