About the Role

The Engineering Technician role blends technical know‑how with strong organizational skills to keep operations running smoothly in a fast‑paced engineering environment. The position supports engineers, manages inventory, coordinates with vendors, and provides basic IT assistance to staff. • Assemble, test, and troubleshoot prototypes, components, and equipment, including detailed solder rework, thermocouple welding, wiring, labeling, and harness fabrication. • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized lab and office workspace. • Track, maintain, and calibrate inventory of engineering tools, parts, and supplies; order new stock as needed. • Communicate with vendors for purchasing, service, and technical support of lab and office equipment. • Help monitor project timelines, materials, and progress to ensure the engineering team has required resources. • Provide basic tech support for office hardware and software, troubleshooting minor IT issues.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field is preferred. • Have hands‑on experience in an engineering or technical environment, with exceptional soldering, harness making, and thermocouple/data acquisition skills. • Demonstrate strong organizational ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and basic IT troubleshooting. • Possess deep expertise with tools and equipment used in an engineering lab or workshop. • Exhibit good communication skills for effective interaction with engineers, vendors, and staff. • Show attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solving and task management.
