About the Role

The Security Officer will oversee the overall performance of site security across designated shifts, conduct briefings and debriefings for guards and supervisors, and coordinate regular training and equipment inspections. Responsibilities also include patrolling the property for damages, managing traffic, handling visitor passes, maintaining lost‑and‑found and material‑movement registers, and overseeing the paid parking system with daily cash reconciliation. In addition to security duties, the role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards, preparing OPEX and CAPEX budgets for Property EHS operations, and driving OHS&W initiatives such as risk identification, incident reporting, permit‑to‑work enforcement, and documentation upkeep. The officer will also lead the site security team, manage staff discipline and wellbeing, and act as the authority to issue or cancel permits and stop unsafe work. • Oversee overall site security performance during assigned shifts. • Brief and debrief security guards and supervisors. • Coordinate onsite training and grooming of security personnel. • Inspect security equipment and report missing or faulty items. • Maintain the lost‑and‑found register. • Patrol the property to identify and report damages. • Manage traffic flow within the site. • Prepare and submit incident reports for any site incidents. • Control visitor access and issue visitor passes. • Update daily material‑movement register and control material flow. • Administer the paid parking system and reconcile cash collections daily. • Respond to emergencies, occupant concerns, and ensure timely email replies. • Monitor CCTV cameras 24/7 and ensure proper functioning. • Issue or cancel permits for planned activities and halt unsafe work. • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements. • Prepare OPEX and CAPEX budgets for Property EHS operations. • Implement and communicate safety management systems and SOPs. • Identify workplace risks and enforce control measures. • Report incidents, NMCs, and SOs per established procedures. • Enforce Permit to Work standards and associated risk assessments. • Attend required training and maintain OHS&W documentation. • Lead the security team, ensuring staff discipline and wellbeing.
