About the Role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will be central to delivering equipment that improves lives worldwide. You will uphold Terex’s Zero Defects philosophy and embed Total Quality Management principles throughout the supply base and internal manufacturing processes. Your day‑to‑day work will involve supporting supplier and product qualification projects, conducting incoming inspections of critical components, managing supplier quality documentation, and issuing reject notes when non‑conformances arise. You will also drive corrective and preventive actions, monitor supplier performance metrics, and assist with new product introduction from design review to prototype build. • Promote Zero Defects ethos and Total Quality Management across the supply base. • Support supplier and product qualification projects, including onboarding, contract review, PPAP/FAIR, supplier visits and component verification. • Conduct incoming inspection of critical components. • Review, create and maintain supplier quality documentation. • Issue supplier reject notes and coordinate corrective actions. • Initiate containment actions and drive CAPA based on root‑cause analysis. • Track, analyze and report supplier quality metrics; assist with performance reviews and improvement plans. • Support new product introduction from design review through prototype build. • Perform supplier audits and address customer queries. • Travel as required and support lean initiatives such as 5S and process standardisation.

What You Bring

The role requires an engineering qualification or equivalent experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record in both fabrication and assembly. Candidates must understand manufacturing processes, quality control methods, root‑cause analysis, and be able to read engineering drawings, while also demonstrating strong communication and collaboration skills. Desirable experience includes supplier management, internal or external audit certification, maintaining a Quality Management System, and involvement in new product introduction or advanced product quality planning. Experience handling customer queries is also valued. • Hold an engineering qualification or equivalent manufacturing experience with supplier quality focus. • Demonstrated experience in fabrication and assembly environments. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem‑solving techniques. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. • Strong communication and collaboration skills across levels, geographies and segments. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Desirable: supplier management experience and internal/external audit certification. • Desirable: experience maintaining a Quality Management System and advanced product quality planning.
