About the Role
As a Pre‑Construction Low Voltage Electrical Estimator, you will lead the critical relationship between our Major Projects Team and the subcontractor base. You will serve as the main procurement contact for your branch office, developing accurate installation cost models, selecting third‑party subcontractors, managing contracts, negotiating prices, and optimizing working capital while ensuring clear communication among procurement, branch, and operations teams. You will coordinate all operational procurement activities, adhering to BOS procedures and Delegation of Authority requirements. Key functions include partnering with sales during project development, owning subcontractor installation pricing, reviewing project scopes, qualifying subcontractor requirements, using estimating tools for projects up to and beyond $10 MM, sourcing third‑party quotes, developing and reviewing RFPs, and maintaining effective supplier and internal relationships. • Lead the relationship between Major Projects Team and subcontractors as Pre‑Construction Low Voltage Electrical Estimator. • Develop accurate installation cost models and pricing for projects up to $10 MM. • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with third‑party subcontractors; manage contracts and supplier relationships. • Prepare and review RFPs, take‑offs, BOMs, and ROM estimates using tools such as Procore, Accubid, and Bluebeam. • Ensure procurement compliance with BOS procedures and Delegation of Authority requirements. • Collaborate with sales, operations, and installation teams to define subcontractor strategy and pricing.

What You Bring
We seek candidates with electrical industry experience—such as a Journeyman Electrician, Electrical Supervisor, Estimator, or a related bachelor's degree—who are proficient in MS Office and estimating software (e.g., Procore, Accubid, Bluebeam). Strong financial analysis, cost‑analysis, and procurement experience in low‑voltage electrical projects are required, along with excellent verbal and written communication, teamwork, travel flexibility, and the ability to take initiative and own outcomes. • Required: Journeyman Electrician or equivalent experience, strong financial analysis, MS Office proficiency, and estimating software expertise. • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem‑solving skills, and ability to travel as needed.
