About the Role

Interns will regularly operate technical software to generate and quality‑control client deliverables. They will support pre‑construction civil engineering tasks such as design, planning, permitting, and project analysis across a range of sizes and scopes. The role involves tackling complex problems, assisting project managers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to realize client visions. Participants will also become familiar with relevant federal, state, and local regulations as well as company and client standards, while learning tools like AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, MicroStation, VISSIM, OpenRoads, Synchro, and GIS. • Operate technical software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.) to analyze and QC deliverables. • Support pre‑construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for diverse projects. • Address complex engineering challenges, aid project managers, and collaborate across disciplines. • Learn and apply federal, state, and local regulations along with company and client standards.

What You Bring

Candidates must be pursuing an ABET‑accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, any of the listed mechanical, biological, biosystems, chemical, agricultural engineering disciplines, or engineering technology. The internship offers hourly compensation between $26 and $30. • Pursue an ABET‑accredited B.S. or M.S. in civil/environmental, mechanical, biological, biosystems, chemical, agricultural engineering, or engineering technology.
