About the Role

The role supervises technical staff and oversees daily maintenance and operation of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in critical infrastructure environments. Collaborating closely with regional and chief engineers, the incumbent ensures facilities meet statutory and landlord standards while managing contractors, service providers, and maintenance activities to deliver high service levels. • Coordinate with Regional and Chief Engineers to meet statutory and landlord requirements. • Generate and track purchase orders, work orders, and preventive tickets in the CMMS. • Supervise contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with JLL and BlackRock safety standards. • Perform planned and reactive MEP maintenance, documenting work for compliance. • Manage Building Management Systems, optimizing energy efficiency and responding to alarms. • Conduct minor installations, repairs, and condition monitoring of mechanical/electrical equipment. • Provide technical support for projects and assist with plant commissioning and handover. • Respond to 24/7 escalated issues, including weekend and holiday coverage. • Maintain accurate documentation, update drawings, and report to line management.

What You Bring

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. • At least 5 years supervising multi‑skilled building services maintenance in critical infrastructure. • Strong knowledge of mission‑critical cooling, power, mechanical, and fire suppression systems. • Familiarity with Electrical/Arc Flash Safety (NFPA 70E). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, AutoCAD, and IWMS software. • Ability to work shifts, weekends, holidays with 24/7 on‑call availability. • Physical ability to use hand tools, work at heights, lift heavy loads, and operate in confined spaces. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data center operations, military background, or related field (preferred). • Project management experience (preferred). • EPA Universal certification for refrigerant handling (preferred). • Knowledge of energy‑efficiency programs and sustainability practices (preferred). • Valid electrical or HVAC license (preferred).

Benefits

Compensation is estimated at $90,000‑$95,000 per year, dependent on experience, education, location, and internal equity. The position is on‑site in Atlanta, GA, and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
