About the Role
The role serves as the first point of contact for customers depositing waste at a WM facility, calculating payments, checking loads, and ensuring safety for customers and employees by following safety rules and regulations. • Greet customers, direct traffic, and answer questions accurately. • Calculate waste disposal payments correctly. • Verify incoming loads are safe and free of prohibited material. • Enforce the use of required personal protective equipment and promote safe practices. • Maintain the Scale House and perform routine upkeep. • Complete administrative tasks, including filing and required reporting. • Notify the supervisor of any issues requiring attention. • Attend company‑sponsored training sessions and meetings. • Work overtime as needed and perform additional data‑entry or customer‑service duties. • Perform duties primarily in an office environment using standard equipment.
