About the Role
The East Region Safety Manager will play a key role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance across the project, supporting senior site leadership and overseeing the safety program. • Advise senior construction site representatives on ESHARP Management and Parsons SH&E processes to identify and control hazards. • Manage a team of safety specialists. • Inspect job sites to detect safety hazards and direct corrective actions. • Initiate and conduct accident investigations, determining root causes. • Represent management during regulatory or client safety inspections. • Review and distribute safety inspection reports with recommended corrective actions. • Conduct risk assessments for upcoming work and provide technical assistance for safety planning.

What You Bring
Parsons is seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team dedicated to supporting a large government customer in delivering a significant infrastructure project central to the United States’ border security programs. In this role, Parsons will provide Owner Agent Construction Management Services—including program management, construction management, risk management, scheduling, cost estimating, progress reporting, construction quality assurance, safety, and other supporting services—to achieve program success. Ideal candidates possess appropriate certifications, education, and experience in occupational safety, with a preference for those who have heavy‑construction and federal project backgrounds. • Hold OSHA 30 certification. • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of health and safety experience, including supervisory roles. • Professional safety certifications preferred. • Heavy‑construction experience preferred. • Prior experience on federal government projects highly desired. • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations required. • Local applicants strongly preferred; must have US person status and pass background check (no security clearance required).
