About the Role
The role involves leading or supporting the conceptualization, design, and construction administration of municipal and industrial water/wastewater infrastructure projects across the region, requiring client interaction, presentations, and coordination with regulatory agencies. The position demands management of multidisciplinary project assignments, development of study and design standards, progress meetings, schedule tracking, construction contract oversight, and preparation of technical reports and permit applications, while staying actively involved in the engineering industry. • Lead project teams in planning, design, and construction administration of municipal and industrial water/wastewater facilities. • Travel periodically within the region to support clients and coordinate with municipalities and regulatory agencies. • Conduct client presentations, coordinate project activities, and manage multidisciplinary assignments. • Develop and implement study and design standards, lead progress meetings, and track project schedules. • Oversee construction contract management, observation services, and prepare technical reports and permit applications.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred), possess 10‑15 years of water/wastewater experience including NYC DEP projects, have a PE license in NJ or NY, and be proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong teamwork, organizational, and communication skills are essential. • Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred); PE license in New Jersey or New York. • 10‑15 years of water/wastewater engineering experience, including support of NYC DEP projects. • Experience in evaluation, design, permitting, and construction administration of treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution systems. • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Strong team player with excellent planning, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
