Driver CDL B - Residential

About the Role

A Driver with a Class B CDL is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and delivering prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with company safety standards, adhere to all state and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating the truck along assigned routes, loading and compacting waste, and disposing of material at the designated facility. Drivers interact courteously with customers and dispatchers, tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for prohibited items, clean spills, and keep the vehicle clean to reduce downtime. They also complete required productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports while meeting productivity standards. • Conduct complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections • Operate the collection truck safely along designated routes and to disposal sites • Load, compact, and unload waste using manual or automatic controls per safety policies • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers; monitor waste for prohibited items • Clean spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime • Complete route productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other required documentation • Adhere to productivity standards, safety policies, and participate in the ReSOP program

What You Bring

Minimum requirements are a Class B or higher commercial driver’s license with air‑brake endorsement. Hiring locations include Kerrville, Hunt, Ingram, Mountain Home, Center Point, Comfort, Fredericksburg, Harper, Boerne, and Bandera in Texas.
