Front End Loader Driver - CDL (B)

About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before each trip and adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations while operating the vehicle. Key duties involve performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, reading route sheets, following maps, loading refuse, operating the compactor, and disposing of material at the designated facility. The driver interacts professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers, identifies unsatisfactory containers, monitors waste for prohibited materials, and cleans any accidental spills while maintaining vehicle readiness. • Perform pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Safely operate the collection truck along assigned routes, load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose at designated sites. • Read route sheets, follow maps, and serve each customer as assigned. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for prohibited materials. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other required reports. • Adhere to all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and follow company rules. • Maintain required productivity standards for efficient customer service.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through skills.
