About the Role

The Laborer performs manual labor on construction and plant operation sites, delivering high‑quality work safely and productively. They ensure all materials, tools, equipment, and information are available, seek improvements in methods, and learn from others while understanding safety hazards and proper tool use. Key duties include general site clean‑up, digging footings with hand tools, back‑filing, loading and unloading materials, stripping concrete forms, operating various power tools, preparing sites by trenching and shoring, removing debris, performing other low‑skill physical tasks, and assisting other craft workers as needed. • Perform general clean‑up • Dig footings with hand tools • Load and unload materials • Strip concrete forms • Operate power tools (vibrators, compactors, jackhammers, chipping guns) • Prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces, and clear rubble • Assist other craft workers as needed • Execute repetitive hand/arm tasks with good coordination • Operate hand and power tools after proper training • Climb and balance on scaffolds, ladders, and steel/wood structures • Work on uneven, muddy, rocky, or soft surfaces and in confined spaces • Work in adverse weather conditions and wear a respirator when required • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members • Maintain focus amid distractions and make sound decisions
