About the Role

Material Handlers move recyclable material through the facility, conduct material grading, and evaluate items for their appropriate sale destination. The role focuses on efficiently handling, documenting, and preparing recyclable goods for transport. The position requires operating material‑handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, hoists, and cranes to move loads. Handlers load materials onto vehicles, secure them, record details on PC tablets, attach tags or labels, and perform accurate documentation and material audits. • Move recyclable material using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, handcarts, hoists, and cranes. • Load materials onto vehicles and secure them with strapping, bracing, or padding. • Use PC tablets to record and retrieve part numbers, quantities, locations, and comments. • Transport materials from storage or work sites to designated areas. • Attach tags or labels and mark information on cases, bales, or containers. • Document work performed accurately. • Conduct material audits.

What You Bring

The job is physically demanding, requiring coordination and dexterity of arms, hands, fingers, and legs, and frequent handling of objects over 50 lb. Workers must push, pull, bend, twist, and lift up to 50 lb while working outdoors or in a GPS‑monitored vehicle, often exposed to dirt, odors, noise, and extreme weather. Benefits

The expected base pay is $19.65 per hour, with the final rate influenced by experience, education, training, certifications, and location.
