About the Role

A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before each shift, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include conducting thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at designated facilities, and following route sheets to service each customer. The driver interacts courteously with customers and dispatchers, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, and continuously monitors vehicle condition, performing routine cleaning of the packer blade and truck body. Drivers must maintain required productivity standards, complete route and productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports, and actively participate in the company’s ReSOP safety program. They are expected to demonstrate strong customer service, time management, follow‑through, and a commitment to safety and company policies. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete daily VCRs. • Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes, load, compact, and transport waste to disposal sites. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and clean accidental spills per safety standards. • Keep the vehicle clean and operationally ready, including cleaning the packer blade and truck body. • Complete route productivity sheets, reports, and meet department productivity standards. • Participate actively in the company’s ReSOP safety program.
