About the Role

Partner with our highly skilled and talented engineers by supporting their day‑to‑day business needs for projects in various markets throughout the world. Syska Hennessy Group provides specialized consulting, engineering, and commissioning services for clients worldwide, guiding projects from planning and design through construction and operation of technically superior facilities. • Draft and issue project proposals, RFPs, budgets, cash flows, and preliminary schedules with the PM. • Serve as a higher‑level liaison on projects. • Track and monitor project budgets under PM supervision. • Oversee project organization and communication charts. • Manage progress and quality of work from design disciplines/trades. • Track contract execution logs. • Review sub‑contractor quotations to recommend fair pricing. • Manage change notices, change orders, and assist with collections through client follow‑up. • Ensure completion of project close‑out documents and obtain all sub‑contractor documentation. • Enter and update client proposals in Salesforce. • Coordinate calendars, travel arrangements, and timesheets. • Perform data entry and assist with formatting/editing project specifications. • Support HR by coordinating candidate interviews and completing I‑9 verifications. • Lead onboarding of new hires, providing training on systems and processes. • Archive and purge company documentation per record‑retention schedule. • Organize site‑specific in‑house and client events. • Maintain office facilities, ensuring they are operational and stocked.

What You Bring

We are seeking a self‑motivated Project Coordinator for our Boston, MA office. The coordinator is an integral member of the project team, organizing and controlling project activities and providing administrative support to deliver engineering design services for building construction projects of varying size and complexity. The ideal candidate has an associate degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management (or equivalent experience), plus at least ten years of experience as a project administrator or coordinator. A solid understanding of architectural engineering and construction, proficiency with the MS Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, and preferably FinancialForce and Salesforce, together with strong multitasking and organizational skills, are required. • Associate degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Project Construction Management (or equivalent experience). • 10+ years experience as a project administrator/coordinator in building construction. • Strong understanding of architectural engineering and construction industry. • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; intermediate Adobe Acrobat skills. • Knowledge of FinancialForce and Salesforce (highly preferred). • Excellent multitasking, organizational, and independent/team work abilities.
