What You Bring

Our established geosciences team is seeking a Senior Soil Technician for our specialist NATA laboratory in Mackay. The role requires knowledge of soil, aggregate and rock testing, and experience on civil construction sites, including bulk earthworks and inspections. You will receive direct support from the NATA Laboratory Manager, Queensland engineering team, RPEQ engineers, geologists, and scientists, and will serve a diverse client base spanning government, mining, and international private sector projects. • Minimum Certificate III level qualification in the geotechnical field or laboratory management techniques • Ability to multitask across a broad spectrum of projects • Valid driving licence • Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and construction materials testing • Radiation licence and proven experience with a nuclear radiation densometer • Ability to complete a pre‑employment medical • Professional memberships
