About the Role

The role involves drafting, converting, producing, and editing plans and CAD/BIM‑generated products, providing design assistance and calculations, reviewing BIM models for coordination, supporting the BIM manager with templates and families, preparing client submissions, and assisting in managing Revit files and projects. • Produce setup drawings, sheets, and views following CAD/BIM standards and guidelines. • Modify architectural CAD/BIM files for MEP design, including clean‑up, audit, reference, and troubleshooting. • Draft and generate redlines for plans, diagrams, and schedule drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit. • Review BIM models for coordination using Revit and Navisworks. • Support BIM manager in creating Revit templates, families, and providing staff assistance. • Prepare project documentation for client submissions and manage Revit file organization. • Provide design assistance and calculations to designers and engineers.

We are seeking an AutoCAD/BIM Digital Designer II‑IV to join our team in Chicago, IL. Candidates should have an associate’s degree or equivalent training, 3–10 years of CAD/BIM experience in an MEP firm, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP, ability to read and interpret floor plans, sections, and elevations, basic drafting skills, familiarity with at least one mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trade, and competence with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related file formats. • Hold 3–10 years of CAD/BIM experience in an MEP firm with proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP. • Possess an associate’s degree, trade school completion, or equivalent formal training. • Ability to read floor plans, sections, elevations, and understand red‑mark annotations. • Familiarity with at least one mechanical, electrical, or plumbing trade. • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and handling various file formats.
