About the Role

The Electrical Project Manager role is located in South Plainfield, NJ, within the Clean Energy division and reports to the Operations Manager. The manager will oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning, monitoring progress, coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and vendors, and delivering successful outcomes for E-J’s clients. • Create and manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables. • Provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders on status, risks, and milestones. • Liaise with field supervision, attend and run project meetings. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and closeout documents. • Perform estimating and promptly address project issues, conflicts, or delays. • Develop comprehensive project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures. • Procure and coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractors as needed. • Identify process-improvement opportunities and implement best practices to boost efficiency and profitability. • Work for a leading nationwide electrical contracting organization.

What You Bring

• Minimum five years of project-manager experience in electrical contracting. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project-management software such as Procore, Emque, Riskcast, and Toric. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical contracting or engineering. • Strong organizational, multitasking, detail-oriented, and communication skills. • Practical knowledge of construction processes and solid business acumen.

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $85,000–$115,000 per year.
