About the Role
The Operations Specialist for Collections at WM provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and helps coordinate all aspects of daily operations. The role involves troubleshooting safety, service, and operational issues, maintaining and distributing daily departmental information, and acting as the KRONOS proxy for driver and helper updates. It requires proficiency with Microsoft Suite and other software to manage procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor, as well as assisting with payment processing and financial tasks. The specialist also supports operational project implementation and communicates with customers about service issues and with employees about scheduling and work assignments. • Troubleshoot and resolve safety, service, and operational issues. • Distribute daily departmental information and serve as KRONOS proxy for driver updates. • Use Microsoft Suite and other tools to manage procurement, time/attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor. • Assist with payment processing and other financial tasks. • Support implementation of operational projects. • Communicate with customers about service issues and with employees about scheduling and assignments. • Work primarily in an office setting using standard equipment.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, being at least 18 years old, and legal eligibility to work in the country. No prior experience is needed.
