Experienced Civil EIT - Land Development

About the Role

The selected engineer will perform site development engineering and project management for a variety of land development projects, handling civil design, permitting, hydrology modeling, storm drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Additional duties include research, coordination, staff management, cost estimating, preparing bid packages and technical specifications, and receiving on‑the‑job training, mentorship, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions. • Perform site development engineering and project management for land development projects. • Complete civil design, permitting, hydrology modeling, storm drainage, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D tasks. • Conduct research, coordinate efforts, manage staff, estimate costs, and prepare bid packages and technical specifications.

Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with a civil engineering design firm, a bachelor's or master's degree from an ABET‑accredited program, and an EIT or Engineering Intern certification (or the ability to obtain it within 12 months). Required skills include working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong verbal and written communication, urgency, self‑initiative, detail orientation, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Possess 2+ years experience in a civil engineering design firm with an ABET‑accredited degree. • Hold EIT/Engineering Intern certification or obtain it within 12 months. • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Demonstrate strong communication, urgency, self‑initiative, detail orientation, and teamwork.
