About the Role
As an Accounts Assistant you will support the Financial Accountant and Group Financial Controller in processing all financial aspects of Robertson Group Limited and its smaller group entities. • Prepare daily bank reconciliations • Assist in weekly cashflow forecasts • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations • Post monthly journals • Maintain fixed asset ledger and depreciation postings • Perform monthly ledger reconciliations • Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns • Raise sales ledger invoices, post contract sales invoices and resolve unallocated cash • Verify bank details prior to weekly payment runs • Collate information for PSA • Prepare monthly inter‑sector settlements • Assist in quarterly VAT returns • Assist with monthly accruals and prepayments • Support audit processes

What You Bring
You will have experience working within a finance department, solid accounting knowledge and a relevant accounting qualification or be qualified by experience. Strong communication, process and Excel skills, an analytical mindset, and the ability to set realistic objectives and solve key problems are essential.
