About the Role

The assembler reviews and follows the daily work schedule, communicates material needs to the Job Setter, and verifies inventories. They check specifications and drawings for proper machine setups, assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers, and hand tools, and train and assist teammates as needed. They also meet department goals for safety and productivity, address quality alerts and process deviations, follow Visual Operating Procedures, and complete daily 5S+ activities. • Review and follow the daily work schedule. • Communicate material needs to the Job Setter and verify inventories. • Check specifications and drawings for correct machine setup. • Assemble capacitor units using banding machines, crimpers, and hand tools. • Train and assist team members as needed. • Meet safety and productivity department goals. • Address quality alerts and process deviations. • Follow all Visual Operating Procedures (VOP). • Perform daily 5S+ activities.

The Capacitor Assembler must be proficient in slitting, cutting and folding major insulation paper and work closely with the Group Leader, Job Setter, and Production Supervisor to uphold safety, production, and quality standards.
