About the Role

The Logistics Coordinator role monitors, coordinates, and reconciles inbound and outbound rail schedules while entering billing information in SAP. Acting as the primary liaison among HM Logistics, Union Pacific, internal and external customers, and third‑party vendors, the position ensures accurate vendor invoice reconciliation and maintains rail‑related administrative records. Additional duties include on‑call support, cross‑training in scale house operations and truck automation, and backing up plant clerical staff. • Monitor, coordinate, and reconcile inbound/outbound rail schedules; enter billing in SAP. • Serve as primary liaison between HM Logistics, Union Pacific, customers, and vendors. • Reconcile vendor invoices, schedule railcar cleaning, and maintain rail-related records. • Provide on‑call support and cross‑train in scale house operations and truck automation. • Coordinate logistics for special events, handle non‑PO shipments, and enter purchase requisitions. • Assist plant clerical staff and act as back‑up when needed. • Participate in plant safety walkthroughs and inspections.

What You Bring

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotational weekend coverage. The position is based in a plant quarry setting where personal protective equipment is required, and employees must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, sit, stand, walk frequently, and operate office equipment in varying plant conditions. • Demonstrate strong organizational and record‑keeping skills. • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant software; SAP experience preferred. • Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Rail industry knowledge a plus; bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.
